$17,500 seems like a lot for a novelty item like this. But then I envisioned this as part of a larger work of art set in the lobby of a large, expensive building - perhaps a concert hall, like The Meyerson here in Dallas, or Bass Hall in Ft. Worth, or Roy Thompson Hall there in Toronto.
I pictured a sculture of a violinist with a cast on his hand and in anguish because he cannot play, and the violin playing itself is his own imaginings and desires come to life.

Perhaps as part of an artistic concept sculpture it would be better worth the high price.

Yes I certainly do remember the rant list. In fact, one of my rants from that list is here in this blog. It's the Grocery Store rant, written in the comedic style of Dennis Miller. Remember that one? It is #27 on the list here.

I have to warn you though, some of them are long ones! But I think you know that as well as anyone. LOL
In fact, I'm sure that there is more than a whole book's worth of content here by now.
but it would make a crazy book with all of the different topics like this.

What I don't understand about these is where blogger.com is making the money from this. It is free to set up a blog, and free to write and post and free to read the blogs, and there are no advertisements. Where is the business model for this. Reality has to set in somewhere!
Are they waiting until we have so much time and effort invested, and then say that they are going to shut it down unless we start paying a monthly fee?

It costs money to keep the servers going, and supply disk space to hold this, and the network and lines to make it accessible not to mention the programmers to support it and keep it running. Who is paying for all this?
Something doesn;t add up here.
Either someone has made a bad businesss decision, or something else is happening beneath the covers.
Is information being mined and sold to the government? Sold to companies?
Who would need it or want it, or pay for it?
Interesting to think about, yes?

I use livejournal and you can have ads on that as well. They just sold to a much bigger company and made a ton of moeny that way. Also, livejournal has paid accounts which give you a ton more features so that's always been a way they make money. I don't know if your blog site works like that.
